Using Busa Airbox Rubbers

I'm using Busa TB's on my XE engine. Has anyone used the Busa airbox rubbers instead of silicon tube with plastic / ali trumpets?

I have 4 of the 'long' rubbers and am going to give it a try - I'm reckoning that if that's what Suzuki use to squeeze nearly 200bhp from a 1300 engine, then it should be good enough for me!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Thats exactly what I'm doing(with the GSXR 600 rubbers) - In fact, Bought another airbox on ebay, so I can use the 4 trumpets aswell as the four rubbers to attach the TB's to the manifold - They are all fuel proof, and a perfect fit...
