Zetec, R1 carbs and air filter

Hi, I have a 1.8 zetec and plan to get R1 carbs/manifold/air filter from Bogg Brothers.

Will this set up cause me to make a hole in my bonnet to accomodate the air filter? I'd prefer to keep the bonnet intact if possible. Are there any air filter types that would allow everything to be hidden away under the bonnet??

Does anybody else have this set up? Pitures would help, or I can look in your archives.
Keith.

Why do they call Port Harcourt "The Garden City"?...... Becauase they can't spell Stramash.

Put on a bonnet scoop. Hides the air filter and looks more agressive

I'm running ZZR1100 carbs on a Bogg, they are just below level with the rocker cover. I think R1s are more vertical so will probably be a bit higher.

I'm using ZX6R carbs, home made manifold and home made airbox. It will all fit under the bonnet, but whether it works OK is another matter!
