sensor values
Hi, I'm still trying to find the resistance values of the original coolant temp and air temp sensors on a 2.0 Pinto engine. Does anyone happen
to have them?

Cant you measure them yourself? Just measure the resistance in:
A glass of well iced water (1-2 degrees C)
Room temperature (20 degrees C)
Boiling water (99-100 degrees C)
to give you the three pairs required for Easytherm.
It doesn't make any difference even if the temperatures are off by a couple of degrees. I'm sure someone you know will have a meter if you
don't have one yourself.
I do have some values for the coolant sensor from a carbed Pinto of unknown origin, but my laptop is in Bristol and I am in Detroit! My sensor may
well be different to yours anyway

I got some info from alldata
all EEC-IV 83-90
coolant and air charge sensors are as follows
code:
ohms @ deg. f/c
31700-42900 68/20
13650-18650 104/40
6500-8900 140/60
3240-4440 176/80
1770-2370 212/100
980-1380 248/115

that's absolutely nothing like the values i got when measuring the values on my sensors...
I will try to dig them out

OK
my standard EFi pinto 2.0 water temp sensor (little 1/8" NPT jobbie) read the following:
temp - ohm
4.8 - 956
5.8 - 917
6.8 - 882
7.5 - 848
10.8 - 767
11.5 - 698
13.5 - 640
40.8 - 211
54.8 - 126
55.8 - 123
56.8 - 121
57.5 - 119
58.8 - 119
67.8 - 91
70.8 - 88
72.5 - 90
73.8 - 90
75.8 - 90
77.5 - 89
78.8 - 89
79.8 - 89
80.8 - 90
81.5 - 90
82.5 - 90
83.1 - 91
84.8 - 91
tempratures in degrees C
as you can see - vastly different!!!

For the coolant temp sensor, this one makes sense to me as I'm measuring like 60K at around 10 C, while hot engine (more or less 90 C) shows
2.94K. For the air temp sensor, on the other hand, I meausure 1.3k at 10C and .962 with a hot engine (so not necessarily high air intake temp.) So if
I could find the proper sensor values for the air temp sensor, the question would be fully answered.
