if it revs up semi ok but falls flat when under load it could be the ignition not advancing

See above for better links.

Rob cheers, I'll have a play when the sun comes out again Can you turn off the IAT corrections as surely they can't make too much differance.

ATB Dan.

I used a thermistor from RS that was an exact match for the GM ones but cant remember the part no at present. The air temp has a direct effect on the fuelling so needs to be correct and as far as I understand it the water temp is just used for cold and warm up enrichments.
I have always used speed density with acceptable results and think it is easier to see what is happening rather than Alpha N were the required fuelling seems to have no direct relationship to load etc.

(I hope someone corrects me :-)

I am considering getting GM sensors as my IAT seems to be talking b@@@@cks despite the CLT being almost bang on when compared to my gauge and using easytherm
I may even bypass the IAT sensor and put a variable resistor in there instead
and see how much it does have control over the final pulsewidth

Laters

BTW files done
