Fuel Pipe ID

I have a dilema, the in side of the fuel pump is 12mm ID but the hose from the tank is only 7-8mm, will this case the pump to strain of the flow from the tank is not great enough ?

It's an injection pump with upto 7 bar pressure

6.4 bore tube will flow enough for 300 bhp at 3 bar - how powerful is your engine going to be?

Running about BHP 120ish, but most of the fuel is returned to the tank anyway
