Fuel line bleed valve

Do you need to fit a bleed valve in the fuel line/fuel rail ?

I am using a modified Vauxhall Omega V6 fuel rail and it has one fitted !

Just wanted to check with the gurus on here b4 I removed it

It's probably for putting a pressure gauge on , to check fuel pressure when dealer serviced ?

It may be to release pressure for maintenance procedures as well.

Got the RPI Boxer manifold I was after.Going to fit 4 x 48mm throttle bodies and 8 injectors.

Hope it all works when I finally get it all assembled
