Fuel pump fittings

My new project came with a new fuel pump, like this one

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/NEW-FORD-ORION-1-6-SIERRA-2-8-petrol-FUEL-electric-pump_W0QQitemZ370086088838QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_S M?hash=item370086088838&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

In my car I have a standard banjo fitting to connect to the fuel pump but I dont have the nut or washers to secure it to the fuel pump, the length of thread looked quite long. I have ordered a standard m12 banjo bolt as I know the current fitting is replacable, just wondered what the right solution was. I have seen domed nuts.

Any thoughts

I have that exact fuel pump, I fitted it with the banjo fitting as youve described, two copper washers on either side and an alloy threaded cap.

I think domed nuts will be a little too shallow.

where did you get the alloy threaded cap, thats the bit I'm after???

I have bought a standard banjo bolt to replace the current fitting but dont think its the correct thing to do.

Thanks
