ms and fuel pump only primes

my ms2 v3 with edis was ok fuel pump wise but in trying to sort my other running problems out i took it round the block and it conked out,no start. After checking thinks out the fuel pump only works when i key on and off,not while its cranking(priming)if i cycle the ignition several times it tries to fire but dies.So whats gone wrong, ive read about transistors in ms going down but it primes up .

im in my own little world...its ok though they know me there

hook up to lappy and see if MS recognises its going into "run mode" - eg look at the RPM!
If running edis I guess its wired like mine so it /could/ be the rpm input to megasquirt is dodgy/dirty/dislodged/disconnected

(if laptop is showing no rpm when cranking/stumbling would give a good clue that its lost the connection from EDIS)

Regards
Rob
