mega squirt 2 or microsquirt?
Looks like i may be going to america for a few days holiday.
I was thinking that if i was over there it might be worth while picking up a mega / micro squirt and avoiding the importation tax & vat.
It will be running on a crossflow initially and then a zetec. More than likely with edis.
So what would you get and why?

I'd be careful going through airport security with a bundle of electronic components! Pack them in the hold baggage, and keep them in a see-thru
plastic bag if you can!

MS2 is more customisable. Microsquirt has no proto board area.

like flak says ms2 is best as the micro squirt is painfully hard to modify if you need to add features.
