Silicone Hoses for fuel

I am currently fitting some bike throttle bodies, am I right in thinking that normal silicone hose is no good for connnecting them to my inlet manifold as it is no good for fuel . If so what do I need to use.I need 50/51mm hose.

On the bike carbs I fitted to my last project I used fuel filler hose from Think Automotive.

Interested in other answers here, because it was a bit thick, and I'm building an ITB setup for the Jag.

Why don't people make manifolds to take the original TB rubbers as used on the bikes?
I used the ZX6 ones for my carbs, cost me a fiver.

I've been using Gates radiator hose, which was in place for nearly two years until I replaced it as part of a full engine rebuild a few weeks ago, there was no deterioration on the hose and it would have been fine to have been left in place.

My local motor factors got it for me, comes in metre lengths and cost £15 for 42mm i/d hose when I bought it a few weeks back - didn't have any of the original length left after giving it away to folks who tried silicone
