Audi A8 Fuel pump
I bought a fuel pump new off ebay advertised for kit cars.
I emailed the seller, he told me they are from Audi A8s.
It came today, one end has a normal 8mm fuel connection and the wiring terminals. The other has a 20mm connection with a small filter inside.
Can anyone tell me where to find some 20mm fuel hose, and has anyone used one of these?
Hope it's not designed to go inside the tank

Here's some pics.
Anyone know what the 2 small holes are near the 19mm inlet? :S

You'll probabl needs some adaptors, but Merlin Motorsport have a good selection of hoses and fittings.
Looks like an in-tank pump to me too.

That looks like a Walbro in-tank jobby to me - I had one of those (or something very similar) in my 200SX. The inlet usually has a sock filter
attached which might be what the two holes are for.

So if i stick a pipe on the 20mm connection, it's gonna suck air in the 2 holes?

Nope, I reckon that's the outlet so the two holes might be for mounting to the in-tank bracket.

Well, had a bit of a play in the sink with a 12v power pack and it's an in-tank one
No good for any kit car/custom as it was described as in the title of the listing on ebay!
Now, need to try and sort a replacement.

That's and in-tank pump. The two holes are vapour returns from the pump element.
