zetec dolomite
hi guys i'm just about to sort the fuel system out on my zetec powered dolly. the engine is a 1.8zetec and i;m running the std inlet
manifold(casted ali) and std ecu. i have a few questions.
1, can i use the dolly fuel tank and just put a swirl pot in line.
2,what fuel pumps would i need.
3, big wasa how do i wire it up please
that we do for now any help would be great

Whats the code on the ecu mate ? on the white label , four number / leters.

92fb-12a650-bc 2fbc is what i have should be a 130bhp from a escort/orion.

You will find loads of cheap external fuel pumps on ebay, the delivery pressure (normally 3 to 3.5 bar) is determind by the pressure regulator

I only bother with the mondeo's for the 2.0 but as yours is a pre pat ecu its easy to start with any way. There is loads of info on the fiesta
forums. You could start and compare yours to this.

There are several pins you can ditch.
eg canister puge, pulsed air and there other pins in the loom not used for the efi like the alternator charge light and the low oil presure light.
Pin numbers will be differant to yours on this pic.
This gives you an idea how the fuel pump works. The ecu controles the pump via a relay and it also monitors the pump aswell.
