If its an ms2 u will need to do a couple of mods to the board and load the msextra sequential code, but its possible. Do you want to run sequential?
As that is all you need a cam sensor for.

MS2 and MS3 can run full sequential fuel and ignition.
MS2 can run up to a 4cy sequentially and MS3 can run up to a 16cy (8cy out of the box) fully sequentially.
The MS2 has a single input for either a cam or crank sensor (a lot of the Jap stuff only have cam signals)
If you want to run sequential on an MS2 it would need building to that spec. But its not expensive, roughly £450 for an MS2 to run seq fuel and wasted
spark. £500 for sequential fuel and ignition.
The MS3 has 2 inputs, either can be used for hall or VR for full sequential,
cheers,
Phil
