Stimulator kit
Hello.....ordered my stimulator kit on the 6th, turned up today $56.60...about £37 posted and no duty or extra postage ! RESULT says' I what say
you.........

hmmm..... take it you're talking about a megastim kit? I paid about 15 quid (inc postage) for a very well built 2nd hand one about 3 months ago
- this is the wrong forum for anything megasquirt related tbh, MX5 ones, where it is much more commonly used, are a source of many
bargains.......sorry to p*ss on your cornflakes and all that

Not a bad price but to be honest you can build a mega squirt with out a stimulator as long as you are careful with the assembly, a stimulator would be
useful for trouble shooting though. I have one I built years ago and only used briefly whilst building my ECU and then was not really needed.

If your building a MS to work with a trigger wheel then the stimulator will not test/simulate that configuration. Its only good for Points set up.
The Jimstim is the one you need for testing a trigger wheel set up.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016
