Hi all I've just got an MS1 the board say's v2.2, how easy is it to up-grade to MS2 with waisted spark, crank sensor tacho ...can this be
done at home ?

Yes, its straightforward. Read the MSextra web site.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

yes. Ms2 is a daughter card, just follow the instructions (once you can find them).
Not sure what crank sensor tacho means. I built an LM1815 circuit for my VR trigger.
All at home, although I did borrow an oscilloscope from work.
