Fuel pipe warning
Just checked my diff oil and found fuel pipes perished that bad that you could see the braiding, It is ten years old but would have thought it would
have lasted longer than that.

Fairly common but surprised this subject hasn't come up this year already as cars are being prepped for summer

As David has mentioned with the thread,
This problem has been going on for may years, so I now change the fuel rubber every two years

It's worth noting that the piece of SAE 30R9 hose that I fitted 5 years ago (when I wrote that item) is still in good condition - no petrol
smell, and the outside is still as intact and shiny as when it was fitted. There are no signs of cracking or rubber rot.
