NO!
For sparks without EDIS you need MSI NOT MSII. any version of the mainboard will do but I would opt for V3 as it's more complete ie. flyback built in etc.

There is no code written yet for MSII to run a second coil driver yet (Unless you fancy having a go!)

Talk to Bill he will advise you exactly what you need.
He is not a commercial organisation so will not sell you things you don't need just to make a profit.
He actually prefers to discuss your requirement so you get it right first time.

OK this is how I understand it.
(running for cover already)

MS I
Will give you fuel and spark with the standard code using an EDIS module if you don't have a dizzy. With a dizzy you dont need the EDIS. With extra code you can run a second coil driver allowing you to run without either a dizzy or EDIS. Without a dizzy you do need a trigger wheel on the crankshaft.
It has 8 X 8 tables for both fuel and spark.

MS II
Will give you all of the above except that there is no code written to run a second coil driver yet. Therefore you need either a dizzy or an edis and trigger wheel.
It is a 24 MHz 16 bit processor rather than 8 MHz and it also has a much larger user ram. The look up tables are 12 X 12 giving better resolution.

All the various versions of the mainbord will run either processor. However V3 is much more complete with less periferal circuitry required.

Either MS I or MS II will run a narrow band O2 sensor (lambda). Both will need an extra decoder to run wideband O2.

Hope this helps.

As I said before Bill knows as much or more than anyone regarding MS and if your not sure what is best for you then go with his advice.

EDIT
I couldn't agree more with Mark above by the way.
You need to:
read read read.
ask a few questions.
then.
read read read.
and keep on reading till your brain hurts.
You need to understand,
and more importantly WANT to understand.

Either I haven't worded it properly (most likely) or you've misread it.

What I was trying to say was:
There is code available to run second coil driver with MS 1 but not yet with MS 2 (as far as I know)

My understanding is that MSI with the extra code also handles 12x12 tables

Now finished! Xflow-Zetec swap with GSXR TB's and Megasquirt.

Strangely I was looking at exactly this earlier today as I really don't fancy edis, twin coil wasted spark seems logical.
