Omex map

I'm almost ready to start my 2L zetec, Omex ECU and GSXR TBs. The base map Omex supply is for a 1.8 Zetec with these specs.

Zetec 1.8 115 PS engine totally standard.
Fitted with Jenvey THP45i.
Omex 600 Series ECU originally mapped on G0.55
3.5 bar fuel pressure reg
330cc Injectors.UsÒr SÒ

Nearest Omex recommended rolling road is Bristol, 100 miles.

Has anyone got a better starting map they would be prepared to send me. Omex software based for a 2L Zetec would be perfect. Beer tokens or a share of my final map after rolling road available.

p.s.Does anyone know what pressure the GSXR fuel rail normaly runs at.

Dusty, that map is fine. It's what it says it is ... a starting map. It just enables you to get the engines coughing and spitting. It will enable you to get it to a relatively smooth High idle, to check for leaks and warm up the engine for further mapping.

It is then up to the engine mapper to get it to run smoothly and then perform like a tiger on steroids.

I understand, but I had hoped to be able to load something that would allow me to drive it safely if gently to the rolling road 100 miles away.

the rolling road guy could pop over and map out the car to be reasonably 'drivable' without having it on the Rolling road. You only need the rolling road for fine tuning.
