hi there i havea 2.0l zetec and a set of r1 injection throttle bodies.
what is best to get to run the engine on a sensible budget

megasquirt is the obvious one, lower cost than the others, but will take more time to install/setup.

Ms1 v3.0 running "extra" code can be had for approx £120-130 depending on where you get it from.
Where and how do you get a Ms1 v3.0 for £120 as they are all £200+ on ebay?

Well I know nothing about electronics so the difference of £60 / £70 to have one built sounds like money well spent to me; or am I missing something?
