New version of Megalog viewer

I have just installed and tried the new version of Megalog Viewer. It has a facillity to automatically adjust the VE table from the results.I ran a short datalog and tried it with succesfull results.
I had tried to use the Megasquirt tweak 3000 programe but couldnt get it to work and have been manually adjusting until now.
If anyone is trying to set up there fuelling it is well worth trying it.

I've been playing with this prog as well.

When you datalog do you turn off EGO correction?

I was driving round last evening generating a log file with EGO set to dissabled in settings.
On two occasions whilst I was driving the MegaSquirt shut down!!!!

No communication with the lap top and it wasn't running at all. Switch off and on again and everything came back up worked fine.

I've never had this happen before and it seemed funny that it happened when running Datalogging and with EGO set to off.

Up until now I have been using MegaTune.
I've had some reasonable results but felt that the latest Megalog Viewer might be a faster way to tune.

It seems logical to switch EGO off when datalogging as you are then running on the "raw" map.

I'd appreciate your comments.

I left the EGO correction on as it said to do so in the online manual for it but it does seem illogical to do so.I may try a run with it switched off and see how it compares.
I am running MS1 with seperate ignition via a megajolt and used a palm for logging insead of carrying the laptop aroundand have never had a reset or lock up of the megasquirt.
My main concern is if it is ok to use it for the full throttle settings with a narrow band sensor. I had a reasonable maP but it has richened the high revs and full throttle settings a fair bit and weakened a few others and now drives smoother but i suspect it is to rich on the top end range. The default narrow band map sets AFR to 12/1 on maximum load so suspect that i may need to reduce it a little back towards what i had manually set it to but will get some longer datalogs at cruise and flat out settings on a dual carriageway.
It defiitely seems to be an easier way to tune and has lots of good feedback on the megasquirt site.
