MSnSE 3 problems - problem 4

Being a pain today, sorry. When selecting the tach input circuit it suggests one either jumps TSEL to VROUT or VROUTINV if one wants the VR input to be inverted. I don't know the answer to this one and went for the VROUT jumper as I couldn't see why I would want it inversed but though I should check. Was I correct?

Steve, Not wishing to be obtuse, have you read the manual? I mean the MSsns one. I think from memory you need the Inverted output.
Linky

Assuming its a V3 board, or find the appropiate section if its a 2.2 baord.

The Manual has 10 (or more) options. Dig out the option you are using, and follow that.

Cant answer all your Q's.. Im stuffin my dinner in front of the PC, and its getting cold

You are not being obtuse. I have read the manual a few times over during the last six months but I don't really understand what I am reading so it goes in one ear and out the other! Thanks though I got the drift at last and changed it.
