In tank Fuel Pump Modifications (protecting)
Just made a decision to modify my Subaru impreza in tank pump mounting bracket which results in having to weld the bracket. The bracket is currently
cad plated I think to prevent it from rusting in the tank. I now have a mild steel weld exposed in the tank. Anyone recommend something I can use in
the tank to stop the weld from going rusty...cold gavanising spray?
thanks

It won't go rusty as long as there is fuel in the tank - even fumes will protect it.
Cheers,

^^^Seconded^^^
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Thirded- if you've got enough water vapour in the tank to make it go rusty you'll have more serious problems to worry about....
