air injectors and megasquirt
hi ive come across a set of air injectors.
does anyone no if megasquirt can control them i dont really want to but another controller for these. ive got a bleed valve that i used to use on my
rs but these are a pain in the bum and you are always messing turning it up. well i do anyway lol.

what are air injectors for? (apart from the obvious
nitrous or something?

Not heard of that before? The only application of air injectors I have seen is for emission control, particularly on older American engines.
Is you mean a solenoid valve for boost control, then yes, megasquirt can control one of these. The V2.2 PCBA needs some modifications, not sure about
the V3.

Rover v8, as fitted to range rovers had them fitted for these reasons - by injecting air into the exahust to dilute the gases would allow emiisions
tests to be passed.

heres a pic of them there the same as fuel injoctors but for the control of the actuator.
