GSXR Throttle bodies
I have just purchased a set of throttle bodies from a Suzuki GSXR, I am pretty sure they are from a K1 or K2. What type of wiring loom fits with these
if I am not using a bike loom? Also what after market ECU's does anyone know of work well with this, like is megasquirt ok?
Thanks Scott

Hi Scott,
Welcome - I'm pretty sure the search button will be your BEST friend.
Megasquirt is a good way of doing it at sensible money, as for the loom - you will need to graft this into the megasquirt wiring harness - if
you're lucky and find a re-seller that supports this.
Have a word with DOOFUS on this site - he supplies megasquirts and wiring harnesses and has done quite a few GSXR installs
Good luck

I used a set of GSXR600 K1's on my RF900 BEC using megsuirt.
I also used a GSX1400 fuel pump mounted in a small header tank suppied by the car fuel pump.
The only problem I have is that I need to fork out for a good rolling road setup session.
Trying to get the best setup on my own while negotiating all the SUV's/MPV's in my area is not easy.
Plus using a narrow band O2 sensor is not ideal.

Did you get the injector connectors? - In which case the loom is fairly straight forward to construct.......
As for ECU's - you pays you money, etc,etc - Megasquirt is the DIT route, and the cheapest, I'm in the middle of the same conversion at
the moment.

Cheers guys,
Connections came on the injectors, reason I asked about wiring is just on ebay at the moment there is a wiring loom for sale which would fit these and
it is cheap so if I need it I need it if I dont at least I had them.
Not sure yet about buying brand new ECU depending on money, but then depends where I could get second hand set ups.
Thanks
Scott

If you think about it, there are not that many wires.........
Thinking about what you want on the loom - TPS (3 wires), AIT sensor (2wires) and the injectors (2 wires each), and thats about it.........
If you are short on cash, then I really would recommend the Megasquirt route....It's hard graft, but works out much cheaper.....
