still playing with MS

hi guys, im back to trying to get my car working with MS , i have the car up and running at idle (about 1000rpm) AFR is About 12.8:1, and its firing about 11 degrees before tdc, im struggling to improve the AFR, im trying to get the AFR around 14:1 at idle?

any suggestions on what to do next, i am continuing to read the MS manual but dont seem to be making much progress?

please help,

Alex

Open VE table 1, look which cells are active at idle, multiple the values by 0.91 (12.8/14.1), click "burn to ECU". Unless your injector opening time is massively wrong, that should correct the fuelling.

If the idle is rough still, then it could be an air leak in some of the cylinders, causing some to run lean. Also check your timing to ensure it really is 11 degrees.

Some engines do like to idle rich. I usually end up somewhere close to 13-13.5:1 at idle, and leaner and the engine would start to hunt, particularly if you don't have an idle valve.

As above but make sure it's at running temperture first.
up to 70 c it will be using the warmup wizard settings.

i have injector opening time of 1.0 ms. does this sound about right? that is what it says to have the value as in the megasquirt manual.
here is my ve table so far

not too worried about the higher values at the moment but the values around the 1000 rpm section at 30/33 seem to be working ok, remember im running alpha N.
