What sort of front mod do you mean? I thought of closing off all the openings around the engine, then I thought of how much heat a turbo car can generate, and left it alone!

All I know is that there is no lift without drag, and downforce is just lift upside down.

How vary dare you!

Normal is getting dressed in clothes that you buy for work and driving through traffic in a
car that you are still paying for - in order to get to the job you need to pay for the clothes
and the car, and the house you leave vacant all day so you can afford to live in it.

You can gain something from ensuring fitting ducting so that all the air that enters your nosecone can only go through the radiator. Then make sure it can get out of the engine bay, through vents / louvers etc on the top and / or sides.

The biggest benefits though come from reducing the lift on the front wheel arches. They're not pretty, but getting longer ones that wrap around more of the circumference of the tyre is very beneficial. The further around the front face of the tyre they cover, the better. Louvers on the top of the wheel arch are also great, though their dirt & water shielding properties will suffer.
