I bought a small dewalt with 2 batteries - cost about £120 iirc far better that the 2 x Black & Deckers I had before..
Lot more torque

thats not good
there is always Hilti I guess, but you might want to wait until you've won the lottey

I bought a Makita nicad when the li-ion were still new and very expensive and it has been a brilliant tool. The batteries are still going strong with
no sign of weakening yet so I've had my money's worth out of it and replacement batteries are not too expensive now either.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

I went for the Makita with 2 batteries then bought a second body off e-bay. Been going great guns throughout a rebuild, sterling work on other
metalwork and woodwork jobs, rarely use the hammer action, leave that to the mains brute.
