JAW question

I've finally connected up my JAW AFR meter and it seems to be working. I haven't had it coupled to the laptop yet, but am getting a reading of 34.27 in free air.

According to the instructions it should be 34.28.

Is this likely to be a problem? Seems close enough to me!

I can't see it being a problem, The sensors themselves aren't even close to being accurate to 0.01 AFR

Thanks

The readout when connected to the laptop is 34.28 anyway so all is well.

Just need to get my boss welded in to the exhaust and I can do some carb tuning!

Did you try squirting some butane from an UNLIT lighter across the sensor? You should see the value drop very rapidly to something like 9 or 10, then recover when you take the lighter away.
