Seen at ACE Cafe today- how can this be legal?
As per title, I was at the ACE Cafe this morning and saw this wonderful trike. It looked absolutely fantastic. But how can it be road
legal?

I don't know but it looks awsome!
This is really sad but they look like the same tyres as on a Ferrari F40

i think the simple answer is, in that state its probably not! a few bits may well have fallen off officer looks brilliant though! certainly the
numberplate is a little less than legal..
edit to say, love the exhaust in the second pic! lol

That is a nice looking trike. There are wing stays for the rear arches and you'd probably find some for the front too. Maybe he even has a
yellow number plate for the rear, all removable for show.

It's definitely not legal in that state. Did it ride there like that? I wouldn't spend all that time and effort and risk having it
impounded for the sake of looks.

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

That looks awesome. Probably looks just as good with the rear mud gaurds on..
The rims look like banded steels aswell which are band over here.

Ive suddenly lost any interest that I may or may not have had in the trike!
If its broke, fix it. If it aint broke, take it apart and find out how it works!

Well I did see a blonde lady near the bike talking about the diference between MOT and SVA requirements so that could have been Helen. Wish I had
known it was her trike as I would have asked her a few questions like:
Where do you get those wheels from?
Where do you get a rear axel that narrow from?
Did the gearbox come with the engine (it was shaft drive output) or was it grafted on.
I really liked that trike. My Luego is finished and I am about to start on my next project, Austin Healey restoration, but I am definitely keen to
line one of these trikes up for the project afterwards.
