sva on monday....MS emissions help pls!!
hello peeps, sva on monday and emissions is one of the last jobs. Can anyone give me some advice on megasquirt emissions tuning. LC-1 fitted ford
edis, AFR gauge seems to be a little jumpey? ign timing is it best to keep low under 14 degrees? any ideas?

AFR needs to be over 13.5 at idle to be in on the emissions test. Really you should have no trouble reaching 14.7 at idle.
Just make that part of the map nice and lean to get through the test. May affect just off idle performance, but you can always tweak it after.
AFR is a very unstable figure anyway due to the exhaust pulses. If you can average 14.7 and run nice an smooth I would be happy.
Do remember with forced induction you need to run much richer mixtures throughout the rev range. 12.8-13.5 isnt uncommon.

Hello mate i have same set up as you and in same situation, although i failed my SVA on emmissions.
let me know where you just connected you LC1 anolog 1 (brown wire i belive) too?? and anolog 2 too the guage? just mine shoots flames soon as i
connect it.
