Atlas diff

Hey all,
Just got myself a capri lsd with shafts for my atlas axle.
I want to get it serviced and i think you can get it to motorsport spec too, but can anyone recomend someone to use??
Also, when its fitted it will need setting up right??? do they need it in the axle to do this??
sorry for all the questions, just want to make sure its doen the right way.

yeah they'll need th axle too.

how much did you get the LSD for if you don't mind?

no i dont mind. It was a complete axle but getting the tube sent would cost a bit plus i am going tuse the one already fit in my car. Diff, pinion and shafts for £350...so not too bad really.

Just make sure the one in the car is a proper Atlas and not a Cortina Koln before you ditch the new case. The 2.8 diff wont fit in a Koln.

The dif ratio on the 2.8 is about 3.09, so you might want to consider a CWP change, if you have not planned that already.

only downside to fostek is they are a long way away form me. Gartrac isn't far. I have emailed them asking what the costs would be to sort it and set it up. Hopefully it wont be too bad.
