Weather and storm/lightning Website find
I have been looking at this website. Really like learning and watching thunderstorms. Some people will think its sad but it kind of floats my boat.
Anyone else into this stuff?

i used to be in merchant navy & the lightening storms you see at sea are amazing, as there is no land mass to get in the way you can see the storm
travelling its path.

Yes.. living on hilltop in hong kong watching sheets of rain coming up the valley and wash right over you....

I love to watch lightning, I can sit at the window for hours just waiting.
But my wife hates it.

DAM!
I have been watching a nice size storm tonight which was heading my way from southend way. By the time it got over from the edge of suffolk to norfolk
border is lost it strenth and went.
Anyone know why? How does a storm grow and how is it made?
Really like to know how it all works.
