what battery for mini clubman estate
daft question, but anybody know what battery I need for a mini clubman estate (1977, 1100, not that that will matter)
Nowhere round here has a decent catalogue and by the space where it goes I'm guessing its not the same as the saloon one!
Car's not got one so I have nowt to compare to!
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

Can you measure the well?
Might be able to find one suitable from the dimensions?

077 is correct, it's the same battery used in the pickup, van and very early (1959-1960) positive earth saloons.
If you are playing with older minis the original workshop manual is
online!

I used to fit a heavy duty battery to my Minis which was actually smaller than the standard one.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
