interview feedback
yes im back from my interview at BP, i got absolutely grilled for 1 hour and 45 minutes but a senior operations manager and the HR manager.
it seemed very good cop (HR Manager) bad cop (senior manager) at first, but after a bit of general banter and a sly joke (which they both found very
funny ) we got of to a positive start!
spent half hour talking about previous experiences in jobs etc, half an hour talking about my health as they wanted to talk about why i had been out
of work for 11 months and half an hour on compentancy questions, the last 15 minutes was for me to ask them questions which i did!
overall i think that it went very well, but i did get the feeling they were a little hung up and concerned about my health, which is fair enough, but
i continually told that that i was back to health and raring to go!
fingers crossed
i'll hear by the end of next week!

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Did once know a bloke who was asked what his weaknesses were - "champagne and leggy blondes" didn't go down well!
Good luck

Good luck! This thread needs more Alan Partridge BP related quotes
"I'm off for a mushroom slice at the BP garage"
The mental gymnastics a landlord will employ to justify immoral actions is clinically fascinating. Just because something is legal doesn't make
it moral.

It wasnt an idea about mating bees and harvesting urine was it???
Good luck. Interviews arent meant to be easy, but if you know your stuff they shouldnt be stressful either.
Did you ask how much petrol you can put in a diesel cars tank?
Did you get chance to concurr that top gear is right ref diesel being the fuel of satan?

Look, they took a gamble to see you as I am sure you spelled out your cough(illness) on your cv. They could have written back to you and said
'no thanks'.
As it lasted 1 1/2 hours I think:-
1) they liked you and saw that you would fit in.
2)They know you are not affraid to speak out (ie bad cop, good cop).
3) you know your body and if you say you are back to normal, then you are as fit as the next person.
4) Keeping going at the interviews...
5) my good luck goes to you.
As I am back now for sometime, I'll see you in just over a weeks time....
