Fuel Injection Pressure Query

OK
I have a zetc woth an efi maifold with a Meqa quirt.

When I loosen the input hose it squirts fuel at pressure. So I am assuming the fule pump is getting fuel to the manifold.

However, when I take off he return hose there is no fuel even if I crank the engine with the return hose not connected.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks

Frank

The fuel pump is not achieving sufficient pressure to open the pressure regulator?

ie the rail is at 2 bar and the regulator opens at 3?

You have it plumbed fuel inlet -> along rail -> regulator -> fuel return yeah?

Your using a high pressure FI pump?

Your fuel pressure regulator may be stuck shut which will put strain on the fuel pump (working at max pressure all the time).
