EDIS grounding

Do the EDIS-8 module and the coil packs assume they are bolted to an earthed component? Do either of them get hot during running and need cooling taken into consideration? My current ideal location in my Fury would result in them being mounted on the fibreglass scuttle.

Regards,
Dave

The EDIS module has a metal back that should be bolted to some kind of heatsink. The coil pack will be ok.

Coil is okay, it looks to me the edis module is ment to be mounted somewhere metal to disipate heat, although the amount of heat produced quite low in normal opperating condistions.

Edit : beaten to it!
