emissions and iva,mot tests

just a quick one i would like to see what you all think?
i am in the prosess of the planing stage of a 7 style build.
going trough my doner options for engines boxes running gear etc
the old sierra is hard to find thease days and the few that i have seen seem to be fetching a fair ransome (pinto) so i looking at getting odds and ends for the running gear from flebay, scrappys. im wanting to go for a more modern engine most of them are post 95 making them run a cat (seen brand new duratecs complete for £550)
no problem as i have spent sevral years at collage and in garages i know how the system works but i want to know how hard it is to get a meggasquirt setup running closed loop to pass a cat test? i take it is possible. anyone done it?

Megasquirt will keep at lambda 1 using a standard lambda sensor, as the cat is after the sensor magasquirt won`t notice it.
I think it is very easy to setup for cloosed loop looking at the settings.
