Aeroquip type connectors

Just bought a £100 worth of aeroquip type AN-6 connectors and high pressure braid teflon house to replace all my fuel lines in the Phoenix.

Never used these before so some (probable) stupid questions. ...

Do I need ally crush washers?
Can I use / do I need PTFE tape on the threads ?

Bought them of ebay (http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Torques-U-K__W0QQ_armrsZ1), including a kit for my fuel pressure regulator, fuel pressure gauge, high pressure fuel pump & enough connectors. My intention is to replace all the HP connections with Aeroquip type. Have to get a new fuel rail off Jenvey with the -6 ends to got with it. I'll feel safer with 3.5BAR pressure fuel in the engine bay once this has been done.

AN / JIC fittings do not require PTFE tape, the seal is created between the face of the fittings not on the threads like tapered fittings.

As already suggested the shouldn't need any extra sealant.
