EDIS coil pack capacitors
Apparently, there should be a suppression capacitor on the plugs that go into my coil packs. However I don't have them. Ebay turns up nothing,
does anyone know of an online supplier?
Regards,
Dave

scrapyard ?
its this bit I think:
often on the side of the coilpack mounting - sould only cost a few pence (assuming it doesn't just end up in your pocket )

I never used one either, its only an interference supressor.
I binned one only last weekend, if its still in the garage bin I'll let you know...

Thanks for the offer, although I'll need to track down a second one as I have a V8 and I'm running 2 packs

Standard stuff on zetecs, although NOT ALL! I check under the bonnet of Fords when I'm in the srappy for sensors and wiring and very rarely see
one.
No idea what made Ford put them on some and not others.
Heres mine mounted on the coil pack bracket as intended.

I fitted one after running without for a couple of years but didn't notice any difference.
