Accelerator on floor mounted pedals

I am fitting floor mounted pedals and have sorted the clutch and brake pedals but need to figure a way to join the accelerator cables to the pedal.

Has anyone got any good ideas or pictures of theirs?

Thanks, Mark

Don't know how its normally done but you could design a drum bass style pedal system?

Hard to see but essentially on top of my metro accelerator pedal is a sphere on a small pin, I took it off the sierra pedal and welded it to the top of my metro one as I wanted to use a standard sierra cable for ease of replacement etc, this has a barrel shaped end with a hole in the side that the accelerator sphere goes into and the there is a barrel shaped cover that slides over the top to keep it all together.

From the pictures below hopefully you'll can make sense of the above !!!

The below isn't off my car but shows the assembly a little clearer.

How about something like this.

Description

I made the metal bit from a piece of stainless strip and the cable attachment was from CBS I think.
