If Ford can always have the same bellhousing bolt pattern...
Why can't they standardise the connectors on the crank sensors they use? Got a new sensor from a Fiesta that was being broken, and the keyway
is offset to one side rather than being central. Nothing I can't sort out with a hacksaw, but irritating.

Bizzare isnt it.
- They also use two ring gear pitches on the cvh depending on if its fwd or rwd.
Wiper motors. Now theres something that was very standardised....

Quit your whining!
What you need is a TVR... every model that came out of the factory had different parts on it.... just you try and work out where things like door
handles etc came from!!

I think it's safe to say they didn't do it just to annoy you!
Keyed connectors prevent incorrect components being connected to the loom.
