s2000 fuel level sender! will it work?

hi, i have the fuel level sender from my s2000 and was wondering if it can be used in my mnr.its just about right for depth of tank but has 2 plastic nipples on top where the honda fuel lines were connected! can these be blanked off or used as breathers allowing me to use the inlet and outlet currently on my ally tank?

I would suggest blank them off.,

probably a piece of tube running one to the other.

I used the S2000 Fuel pump/sender integral unit, although also used the S2000 harness (albeit not much of the original left after removing the redundant wires) and S2000 dash/clocks.
