Oh dear

Refitted the engine and wiring last week and spent the last 4 days trying to get the thing to run. It starts idles rough, if you rev the engine it just splutters and farts then stops. It appears to be getting to much fuel. I have checked all the usual suspects and no joy.
I am running a mk2 mx5 set up using the original ecu but without the purge and egr boost valves. I dont have much knowledge in these things it worked before. I might go for an after market ecu what should i go for.

Engine coolant sensor.... are you sure its plugged up correctly? If this one is wrong then it will run very rich/very badly
