zetec dimensions
Hi
I'm getting a zetec engine in the next week or so, can anyone tell me the dimensions of the engine mounts on the side (hole spacing & thread
size)
Also can anyone tell me the spacing between the mounts? (See image)

pic doesnt work, having a look in your archive itll probably be because you have a space in the file name.
Remove the space and upload again ansd it should work

Spacing between the mounts there is around 240mm.
Depends on which car your motor came out of the castings for the mounts are slightly different depending on model and year.

Not sure what car it came from, but is a 1.8 silver top if that helps?

1.8 silvertop went in Fiestas, Escorts and Mondeos.. block casting is slightly different, oil pumps are different and Escorts have shortest sumps
against Mondys being deeper.. plus front bowl sumps, rear bowl sumps.
Lots of variations, but all very subtle, nothing major.
I replaced my 1.8 'scort silvertop with a Focus blacktop and had to remake the nearside engine mount.
