R1 carb fuel leak

I have just put R1 carbs on my engine fired it up to find fuel coming out below where the trumpets go on in the two slots anyone know why ??

Bike carb float valves are prone to leaking if the carbs have been standing for a while as they get dirt in and don't seal. Try cleaning them first.

In addition to the above. What pump are you using.

You don't need much pressure.

Got a mg midget pump fitted was thinking it could be pressure problem so I am looking at fitting facet solid state pump which is 2.5-3psi.

Started today and no leaks must of been some dirt.
