CVH 1.6 - K-JetTronic or?

Hi all,
Ive got a 1.6L CVH out of an Escort RS Turbo and it has Bosch K-JetTronic Injection, is this worth keeping or should I upgrade to another injection system? (or even switch to carbs?)

Thanks!

Hi, the RST uses ke jetronic which works fine the main problem area is with the metering unit
if your retaining the turbo then id stick with the whole system.
you can uprate to use the weber/cosworth management if you want to spend money.
if your not using the turbo then bike carbs would be the way to go but if it is a turbo motor you will have to up the cr if you want to run carbs.

i would think issue may be space and praticalities of using the complete standard setup, as said above as turbo engine would be not be pratical to run on carbs in NA format and cost of alternative ECU to run may be an issue, unless you specifically want this engine i turbo format may be easier to sell it on to a RS forum for replacement or upgrade in a XR and buy yourself a zetec IMO
