Megasquirt "Renix" Setting
Hi all,
Does anyone know what the "Renix 44-2-2" setting in the ignition settings of tunerstudio is?
I had a thought that may make my wiring slightly simpler by using the existing flywheel pickup point for the ignition.
Engine is a Renault J7R 2.0L
Thankyou.

It is for the fuel injectors used on certain Renault and Jeep models, if you have normal Bosch pattern injectors you don't need it.

But its in "Spark Mode" under General Ignition Settings, not Fuel.

I did this with my V6, just used the exesting trigger wheel and pick up, works fine, even though according to the MS instructions its all in the wrong
position. HTH Ray

It's to use the slightly odd trigger wheel pattern a lot of Renaults used to use (the R5GT for example).
