fuel pump and pressure regulator setup
Hi all, Im just about to order my fuel pipes, pump and pressure reg, just want some advise on how the best way to set it up is. Im using a 2.0
blacktop with standard injection system. Is the picture below a good set up? Not my car but just wanted to see if the way below is correct or is there
a way to improve. Also Idea's for a pump and regulator.

first question how did yo make the standard induction system fit I had a new fuel tank with integral swirl pot made for mine. and am running a
sytec fuel pump connected to a fuel filter and the filter to the tank. I made up an aluminum plate and riveted it to the two cross rails.

not used standard inlet, I have not finished it yet but will be using the new inlet from GBS (although its not on sale yet), I have the standard ecu,
loom, enging wiring, ign key with transponder and pick up sensor and will all just simply plug in and work. Well thats the idea......
thanks for the info on fuel, will get ordering parts this week.

Would suggest running feed and return lines instead of that setup.
More OEM.
Tank > Filter > Pump > Feed Line > Rail > Regulator > Return Line > Tank

Oh and dont put the brake hydraulic switch in the rear line either.. Doesnt always see enough pressure to activate

Interesting about brake switch, I have put mine there after recommendation and seeing them fitted at the factory. Will check out the pressure. Thanks
for the heads up, oh and thats the regulator I just found on the e-bay!
