lost fuel filler cap at Silverstone 750 meet

Hi,

Just wondered if any that went to Silverstone 750 club meet a few weeks back picked up an alloy screw filler cap from the paddock?

I drove out of garage 9C at the end of the day and assume it fell off the rear of the car pretty soon after...

what type/thread is it? if its an ali one i may have a spare kicking around on an old tank

You might be able to save me, I hope! The tank was from a Stuart Taylor chassis originally, and the tank neck inside diameter is 38mm or 1.5 inch. The outside diameter of the thread is about 44.4mm. I took a photo of the thread next to a ruler to give some indication of threads per centimetre. I'd be happy to pay 10 quid plus postage if you think you have a lid to fit. Thanks, Keith
