MS, zetec + GSXR TB. Advice

Im just beginning to look at connecting up engine sensors to ecu, Ive looked on the EFI web site and am after a bit of advice/confirmation that Im going in the right direction!

My set up is: 2.0 Zetec blacktop, GSXR throttle bodies, ST170 manifold, Megasquirt 2.

Crank sensor. Im using the original Ford sensor. 2 wires from sensor + & -, which is which?

TPS. Im using the original bike TPS, 3 wires ive identified. +5v and signal to MS and earth.

Air temp sender. Aftermarket sender fitted in air filter (mounting plate), any recommendation as what to buy?

Narrow band oxy sender. 4 wires heater/earth and signal to MS+ earth.

Water temp. Im planning on using the Ford sensor fitted to the right of the inlet manifold. Is this suitable? Also I have a temperature gauge in the dash, can I utilise the one sender for both gauge and MS?

Ford coil pack. 3 connections, spark A, spark B and 12v. Which is which?

Injector banks 1 and 2. Is injector bank 1 cylinders 1&4 and bank 2 cylinders 3&2? 2 wires to each injector, how are these connected?

Im not planning on using an idle valve, is this going to cause me problems?

I realise most of the above has been covered before but trying to find all the answers in one place isnt easy. Ive taken engines out and refitted before but never connected up from scratch, so all advice is greatly appreciated.

The pins are marked 1 and 2 - just wire it up anyhow, then once you have mega squirt fully connected and powered, and spin the engine using the starter (without coil connected) look at the rev counter in Tuner Studio if it shows about 300rpm its wired correctly if it shows nothing swap the connectors over.

Bike TPS works fine.

Air temp sender. Aftermarket sender fitted in air filter (mounting plate), any recommendation as what to buy?

There are some on ebay go for about £12, any will do - you measure the resistances of the sensor at 5 degrees(In fridge), at 34 degrees (under armpit) and at 100degrees (streaming kettle) and program the temps and resistances into Tuner Studio.

Narrow band oxy sender. 4 wires heater/earth and signal to MS+ earth.

A wide band sensor would be better for tuning, the engine will run without one if you set the software to none.

Water temp. Im planning on using the Ford sensor fitted to the right of the inlet manifold. Is this suitable? Also I have a temperature gauge in the dash, can I utilise the one sender for both gauge and MS?

One sender one gauge, measure the Ford sensor as per the temperature sensor and program the software.

Ford coil pack. 3 connections, spark A, spark B and 12v. Which is which?

This is marked on the coil pack A&B each side 12v in middle.

Injector banks 1 and 2. Is injector bank 1 cylinders 1&4 and bank 2 cylinders 3&2? 2 wires to each injector, how are these connected?

I wired 1&4 then 2 and 3. loop +ve to any terminal but same terminal on each injector, then loop -ve same.

Im not planning on using an idle valve, is this going to cause me problems?

No
